How Supreme Creations helped craft ethical bags for leading Makeup Artist Miriam Jacks.
Miriam Jacks had worked as a makeup artist in the beauty industry for over 15 years and in 2010, she launched her cruelty-free beauty concept store. Her original brushes are uniquely designed to be cruelty free and responsibly manufactured.
For this project, Miriam approached Supreme with an objective to create her range of cruelty-free, luxury make-up bags through a manufacturing process which was not only sustainable and ethical, but also used faux leather fabric.
The new bags were to be sold on Jacks Beauty Line website and used for gifting.
Designing & manufacturing a cruelty-free and sustainable range of pouches
For a renowned makeup artist like Miriam Jacks to partner with Supreme Creations, was an exciting and rewarding experience for all of us. The client’s requirements to create make-up bags from vegan material was paramount, and we carefully selected and sourced fabrics and trims over the course of a few weeks for the same.
The entire process also went through several sampling rounds to ensure the client’s satisfaction with the materials, sizes and the type of embossing. Keeping Miriam’s preference for not using any single use plastic in the bags, we added a mesh netting window to one of the bags.
An attractive range of 4 unique faux leather pouches
For the final deliverables, Supreme Creations designed a range of four packaging bags made of faux (vegan) leather. These bags were created with no lining, were printed in gold on either side, and carried a gold zip.
Just like every other Supreme Creation product, these bags too were very well received and are still available on Miriam Jack’s beauty line website.
